The 8635 Telecom Protocol Analyzer, now solely developed at bitGate, is a high end telecom protocol analyzer for validation, trouble shooting and network optimization. The 8630 provides a precise and detailed overview of the monitored network status. The analyzer is used at the wireless and fixed network provider as well as at the manufacturers intergration lab and the subsequent network installation.
All new key technologies like UMTS and GPRS are fully supported. The 8635 enables comprehensive protocol analysis on all major interfaces in GSM/GPRS/UMTS and CDMA networks as well as from ISDN PRI through ATM, IP and SS7.
The analyzer offers powerful applications for detailed protocol analysis, KPI and statistical evaluation in real-time and postprocessing mode. For converging network environments, where simultaneous GSM, GPRS, UMTS or SS7 testing is required, one 8635 can be used to accommodate all these needs. With the units user-friendly and efficient tools and capabilities it allows to turn an overwhelming amount of gathered data quickly into useful network information.
The 8630 is the flagship product of the 863x product line, comprising of 8635, 8631 and 8632. All three products utilize the same software, which makes file recording and sharing an easy task.
